De functie

For the warehousing capability, a special team was built to bring focus on perfecting the warehousing processes and harmonizing all the warehousing processes as much as possible. This warehousing team consists of 5 colleagues, of which you will be the SAP EWM specialist. We’re looking for a self-starter with a solid logistical IT background, who wants to make an impact. You probably have a consultancy background and would like to develop yourself even further, within a team of highly motivated colleagues. You thrive in a dynamic environment and continuously seek improvement opportunities. As part of the role you’ll:

Propose and implement changes to our current system environment;
Participate in, or lead projects in the EWM area, for instance with regard to automation, 3PL warehouses, or bonded warehousing;
Help remotely support our own warehouses in France and Germany (and occasionally visit them);
Liaise with key internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure achieve the business objectives.

You’re based in Hoofddorp near Amsterdam, the Netherlands. You’ll directly report to Shruti Mamagain (WMS IT Solution Delivery Manager).

Het profiel

Bachelor or Masters degree in Information Technology, or similar;
Fulltime availability;
Several years of experience in a complex, multichannel, logistical environment;
Hands-on EWM experience (at least one full implementation cycle, preferably more, with the decentralized version);
SAP EWM certification is a plus, but not required;
Demonstrated success in coordinating changes and projects.
