The company’s Platform started in September 2016 as a corporate startup within this organization. It was created to bring a new digital platform that facilitates building process collaboration. As a result of recent success, it became an official business unit in early 2019. The success also results in more customers and an exponential growth of their business. Because of their expanding platform, they are looking for a (senior) full stack developer.

Our client is a successful European construction group that operates in the fields of construction, real estate, infrastructure, and public-private partnerships. One of the distinctive features of this client is its widely spread regional network of branches, which allows the company to always be close to its clients. In their home markets, they offer clients an extensive range of products and services. Globally, the group carries out specialized construction and infrastructure works in niche markets.
De functie
As a full stack developer at this company, you get the chance to work with the latest technologies and methods. You will be part of an experienced SCRUM team that challenges and helps each other. For the last two years, this team has been working on a platform that helps a wide variety of users in the construction industry. At this point, the platform has been up and running for over a year. This does not mean platform development is done. Are you the senior developer who will improve the platform even further? You will be working on the development of a platform that supports the digital building process for multiple types of users. This is very complex and challenging. You are in direct contact with users, understand their wishes and define solutions and feasibility. Home works with different methods, such as DevOps, SCRUM, Design Thinking and Lean Startup. They expect senior developers to contribute to further improvement of our working methods.

Het profiel
They are looking for an experienced developer to strengthen their multinational team who has the following knowledge and experience. Next to a bachelor’s or master’s degree, you have at least 4 years of experience with the following stack:
- Back-end programming with Node.js (LoopBack 4 framework knowledge is an advantage);
- Front-end programming with Angular 13 (with Typescript);
- Front-end design with Bootstrap;
- NoSQL database experience;
- Implementing unit testing with Jasmine (advantage);
- Implementing automatic end-to-end scripts (advantage);
- Experience with Cloud platforms (experience with Azure is an advantage).
Besides the skills mentioned above you recognize yourself in the following:
- Your English is fluent, both in speech and writing;
- You work autonomously and ask for help if necessary;
- You like to help other colleagues to improve themselves (especially testers and developers);
- You are capable to anticipate changing priorities;
- You have an open and innovative mindset.
