This position is vacant at the Customer Solution department at one of our international clients, based in Breda.

The Customer Solution department is composed of approximately 15 fte with a nice mixture of nationalities.
The scope is international: 21 countries and the focus is on eCommerce, webshop and Chatbots.

De functie

As Solution Architect your main responsibility is to translate business needs into solutions.
You own the Solution Roadmap and Solution Architecture for all our customer-facing developments which will be realized and delivered by multi-national software teams;
You collaborate closely with business stakeholders directly (Product Owner, Business Analyst, Key Users in our markets) whereby you can both understand their requirements well and are able to recommend the best technological solution direction forward;
You are technically proficient however you understand that communicating and guiding your Architectural Vision to teams over the different platforms (SAP Hybris, SAP ECC, Akeneo PIM, Azure Data Lakes,…) is essential to success.

You have been leading delivery of multi-channel digital solutions from either an internal position or from the consulting / agency side before joining us.
Proper experience of Agile Methods and/or Agile Frameworks where either you can demonstrate you have been leading a Solution Train and/or understand it is part of your daily job to ensure each Epic that goes into Development / Delivery has a viable solution design you have agreed to;
You come from software development background yourself and have hands-on understanding of a modern digital architecture landscape e.g. MACH architecture principles (Microservices based, API-first, Cloud-native SaaS and Headless).
You have a drive to grasp a real opportunity at hand which is making us capable of running a digital business that delivers personalized e-commerce customer experiences backed by real-time supply-chain and sales data.

Het profiel

Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related scientific field
Minimal 10 years of ICT-experience of which you can demonstrate a proven track record of delivering digital solution architectures for at least 3 years
E-commerce platform experience, ideally SAP Hybris or SAP Commerce Cloud
Proper knowledge of Services Integration with ETL / ESB tooling

Nice to haves

Automotive industry and/or Distribution business domain experience
Certified in TOGAF/ Archimate
Exposure and/or hands-on knowledge of DevOps – CI/CD practices
