Functional Workday Specialist – Regio: Oost-Brabant

The company is well known for their high quality standards when it comes to food processing machines. Our partner is growing fast and is currently increasing their Workday footprint in Europe. Therefore we are in search for an HR specialist who is passionate about HR processes and technology.
Our partner is a global organization which sets high quality standards in food processing machine industry. This client has its corporate functions centralized in the Netherlands. The IT department consists of 100+ FTE, divided in 3 departments; SAP, PLM and Other Cloud Applications (a.o. Workday for HR).
The Workday Application specialist will take part in the HR Center of Excellence which consists of 2 HR analysts, 2 Workday consultants. This team is currently in search of improving HR as a Global Corporate function, both technically and functionally.
The HR Workday Application Specialist is responsible for maintaining and developing of the Workday platform. You will work closely to with HR and the business to review existing and new functionality to support the business. This role will have oversight into all of the functionality and be involved in all areas of the workday system deployed.
Perform Workday system administration functions;
Identify business needs through working with local and global teams;
Configure solutions in the system ensuring they meet business user needs;
Provide guidance and recommendations on system functionality and design;
Actively participate in Workday Community to identify any potential issues for our partner’s Workday projects.
The ideal candidate:
You understand HRIS information structure, integrations, functions and processes;
You have a minimum of 2 years experience using Workday HCM;
Experience with other functional areas such as Workforce Management, Recruitment, learning, Time tracking and Absence Management, Workday Cloud Platform.
An education at College / University or equivalent level;
Excellent understanding of general HR processes and Practices;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;

€50.000 – €70.000 gross a year
