This organisation is the world’s biggest independent organisation in the area of pharmacy. They do research, development and distribution of human medicine for the use in several medical disciplines. Since 1997 the European centre of logistics is situated in Noord-Brabant. Medicines are packed, labelled and distributed through whole Europe, North-Africa and the Middle-East.

The organisation is currently seeking a Business Project Manager SAP-ERP, a Supply Chain professional with proven track record in leading cross functional projects with impact on European wide Supply Chain processes, preferably in the Order-to-Cash area. This Project Manager will be leading multiple efforts for the European Supply Chain Organization (as part of Global Supply Chain Operations) related to reconfiguration of the OTC ERP (sub)processes, related systems, documentation/reporting and potentially functional structures, all with both regional and/or local (country) impact. These cross-functional projects are to be managed in close collaboration with other functions such as Regulatory, Distribution, Logistics, Quality, Tax, Finance, Legal, Commercial and Information Systems.

This job is located in Noord-Brabant, Netherlands. 


What are your responsibilities? You
Manage of and/or participate in projects for the Customer Service department;
Act as liaison between business & IT and ensure correct translation of business requirement towards IT;
Ensures the coordination of the SC EU portfolio with relevant Project Managers;
Regularly communicate on status and deliverables, chair Steering Committee meetings;
Oversee all project steps from project charter, project design, planning, tracking, closure, hyper care and lessons learned including involving stakeholders and sponsor;
Maintain project resource planning, coordinate conference room pilots and gate reviews, ensure project scope, budget, deliverables and dead-lines are met;
Manage portfolio and prioritization of projects, track and drive project progress, inform stakeholders and escalate as appropriate;
Act as liaison between all Supply Chain Stakeholders and International Distribution Quality, vendor, key constituencies in the EU Region, IS and other Corporate Stakeholders;
Take care of risk management, change management and stakeholder management for each project;
Prepare, facilitate and host project workshops;
Represent Europe Supply Chain work stream in governance forums associated to project;
Investigate, develop and propose solutions improving order-to-cash processes;
Support process improvement initiatives and projects as Business Process Owner including business requirement gathering and sign-off, execution of user acceptance test and approvals for system changes and related documentation;
Ownership of Business system changes along with assessment of the change for projects and compliance improvements;
Ownership of business case & project charter from initiation till approval for ERP Enhancements.


What do you need to be successful in this role?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent;
5-year experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry leading projects;
Proven track record in Project Management (PM certification preferable);
Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain business processes and Order-to-Cash business processes;
Experience leading complex Supply Chain projects related to ERP system (SAP) changes;
Experience in working in an international environment, ability to liaise/communicate effectively with cross-functional teams;
Fluency in English, in both oral and written communication.
